Aidite refines its zirconium oxides
dentona brings optimised material generation to dental laboratories.
The success story of Aidite and dentona is entering the next round: Following the recently extended partnership and the switch from optimill to the original brand Aidite, the zirconium oxide specialist surprises with a technical upgrade. The improvement affects key parameters such as strength and stability - the proven aesthetic properties remain unchanged.
Stronger than ever. As beautiful as ever.
Aiditeis one of the world's most experienced specialists in zirconium oxide. The materials scientists work continuously on optimising their materials - geared to the needs of everyday laboratory work. For years, dentona has represented the company in German-speaking countries. Everyone who works with optimill 3D PRO Zir, for example, will benefit from the latest material refinement. The zirconium oxide, previously known under the brand optimill, has been marketed by dentona under the original Aidite 3D PRO Zir since the end of 2024. New product developments are therefore directly available to laboratories - such as the fine-tuned zirconium oxide with optimised strength values.
3D PRO Zir: Flexible options, proven aesthetics.
The technical refinement increases the flexural strength of 3D PRO Zir to 1100 MPa - a plus in stability that pays off in the laboratory. The manufacturing process (including the sintering parameters) remains unchanged. In addition, all the valued properties of 3D PRO Zir are retained: The natural colours, the harmonious translucency gradients and the characteristic light effect correspond to the usual standard and allow the fabrication of monolithic restorations without compromise in many situations. All this makes 3D PRO Zir a real all-rounder in dental technology - from inlays or veneers to long-span bridges.
The original. Now stronger.
With the technical refinement, Aidite sets new standards in terms of stability and strength. All Aidite zirconium oxides sold by dentona are now available in an optimised version.
