optiprint iso 3D from dentona: Sprayable model isolation for printed models
With optiprint iso 3D dentona (Dortmund) is expanding the optiprint family with a pragmatic solution for everyday laboratory work: the isolation of printed models for processing dental resins. The ready-to-use model isolation has been specially developed for 3D-printed models and forms a wafer-thin, uniform separating layer to auto- and cold-curing polymers such as PMMA. optiprint iso 3D is non-absorbent, maintains the detail accuracy of the model and enables clean, residue-free separation of model and resin after polymerisation. It is applied sparingly and evenly from the spray bottle.
The model is rotated in the spray mist to achieve a homogeneous wetting. If puddles form, excess material can be carefully removed with compressed air. After a short drying time of about one to two minutes, the dental resin can be processed. The cured resin objects can be easily and residue-free separated; cleaning is carried out using standard laboratory procedures such as a steam jet or ultrasonic device.
Advantages at a glance:
- Insulates 3D-printed models against denture and orthodontic resins (PMMA)
- Ultra-fine film with short drying time
- Harmless to health and can be removed without leaving any residue
optiprint iso 3D is part of the optiprint family – dentona's system solution for dental 3D printing. The wide range of resins covers almost every application. All optiprint materials are based on dental materials expertise and are researched, developed and produced in Dortmund.
