dentona opens state-of-the-art headquarters in Dortmund

Bright modern dentona dental lab: big logo screen, dental chair/desk, white equipment counter by windows, scanning workstations and monitors, concrete ceiling, LED lights.

New milestone for customer proximity and growth

There are names in dental technology that are passed down from generation to generation - dentona is one of them. The family-run company has been supporting dental laboratories for over 40 years and has established itself as a reliable partner. At the beginning of September 2024,dentona opened a modern company headquarters in the west of Dortmund, opening a new chapter in innovation and customer proximity.

The new company building is a real eye-catcher: lots of glass, light-flooded rooms and a striking industrial aesthetic. Ergonomics and efficiency go hand in hand to offer employees and customers an optimal environment. "We have created a place that inspires and motivates," explains Carsten K. Wilkesmann (CEOdentona AG). On 5,500 square metres, dentona has an impressive presence. In addition to administration and development, the production of 3D printing resins optiprint also takes place here. "With the new location, we have not only created space for current projects, but also laid the foundation for future development opportunities," emphasises Carsten K. Wilkesmann.

More space, more dentona

The new premises offer many advantages. Employees can develop in an inspiring working environment. Customers can look forward to modern training rooms. Training courses and workshops are held here regularly. Whether beginner or professional, at dentonathe doors are open to anyone who wants to help shape dental technology. The spacious training room covers the entire digital workflow - from intraoral scanners and smart software solutions to 3D printers and milling machines. Everything is designed to bring the dental technology of today and tomorrow to life. Equipment partners such as Asiga and RapidShape (3D printing), imes-icore (milling machines), smart optics (model scanners), Shining 3D (intraoral scanners) and exocad (CAD software) helped to equip the training area. In the field of zirconium oxide, dentona works closely with the world's leading company Aidite.

A look into the near future

There has never been so much dentona! The company remains true to its claim "New Way dental technology" and is focussing on growth. In addition to the headquarters in Dortmund, the plant in Leipzig will remain, where the focus is on plaster production and analogue dental technology. In this way, dentona combines the best of both worlds. Carsten K. Wilkesmann emphasises: "We look forward to continuing on our path together with our employees, customers and partners."
