d.connect 2025: Future dialogue of dental technology inspires over 100 participants

Engaging, practical and inspiring: at d.connect 2025 in Dortmund, more than 100 participants experienced how the future of dental technology is being created - in the mind, in the lab and in dialogue.

Expertise, curiosity and a spirit of innovation came together at the headquarters of dentona AG on 19 September. The exclusive annual meeting was all about the dialogue between science, technology and everyday laboratory life - with a framework that made exactly that possible: honest discussions, new impulses and real connections.

When the brain meets AI

The highlight of the day was Dr Henning Beck's presentation. Captivating, fast-paced and full of energy, he took the audience on a journey through the brain's thought processes - and showed why creativity and intuition remain irreplaceable even in times of artificial intelligence.

Dental technology in transition

Equally inspiring: dental technician Ralf Riquier, who gave a practical demonstration of what is already possible with AI in everyday laboratory work - and where developments are heading. Jannick Bade, Vanik Kaufmann-Jinoian and Björn Zäuner added concrete insights into where digital processes and analogue experience complement each other perfectly. In the subsequent meet-the-expert sessions, participants discussed new business areas, workflows and future strategies in small groups - a format that many found particularly appealing at d.connect.

D.Connect

A framework that connects

The new company building of dentona AG provided the perfect setting: modern, open, communicative. At the buffet dinner, accompanied by live music and a premium raffle - staged in the centre of the new production hall for 3D resins - the discussions continued into the evening - with palpable enthusiasm and many new ideas.

"We deliberately didn't want a classic congress format," said dentona CEO Carsten Wilkesmann. "d.connect stands for dialogue at eye level - between people who want to shape the future of dental technology."

Two worlds: Analogue & digital

d.connect 2025 has shown that progress does not start with technocracy, but with people - in thinking, in dialogue, in cooperation. And that the future of dental technology is created where digital technology and analogue craftsmanship work together rather than against each other.
