3D Shade Matcher

The first colour ring made from the original zirconium material (optimill 3D Pro Zir). Simple and logical! Practitioners know how annoying deviations between the colour determined by the dentist and the restoration can be. A colour reference made of resin differs from an all-ceramic restoration made of zirconium oxide in terms of light refraction and light dynamics.

The 3D Shade Matcher (reference shade tabs made of the zirconium oxide 3D Pro Zir) maximises the successful transfer of the tooth shade from the dental practice to the laboratory.

The optimill partner Aidite has proven itself through many years of experience with dental consumables and facilitates daily work in the dental laboratory. Aidite and optimill have jointly developed the optimill 3D PRO Zir, optimised for monolithic restorations in the stain-layer system. The finely adjusted zirconium oxide enables a homogeneous result with a strength gradient and high flexural strength in the cervical area. In combination with Biomic Stain / Glaze, all-ceramic restorations are given the special aesthetic effect of 2D pastes with moderate viscosity and 3D pastes for texture effects, combined in the stain-layer procedure. The optimill 3D Colour Plates are made of the same material as the restoration and show how the colour will look on the restoration. In combination with the colour indicator optimill 3D Shader Matcher, made from real 3D Pro teeth, a colour difference in the tooth shade is avoided.
