The Vinyl impresses with its precision, speed, durability and exceptional range of functions. From now on, users can decide for themselves whether they want to create a monochrome or colour texture scan for their work.
Optionally, they can decide for themselves which scan mode is most useful for their working method. Alternatively, the dental technician can choose to scan with the door open or closed. The Vinyl offers maximum convenience and time savings thanks to the fully automatic Z-axis and automatic positioning of the scan object in the measuring field. The Vinyl also frees up organisational space for the user by eliminating the need to screw on spacer plates. Valuable time that can be better utilised.
In addition to saving time, smart-optics has paid particular attention to ease of use. With its 180-degree opening, the vinyl provides plenty of space for working and the improved motor control ensures smooth and fast motorised movements. The scanner's large system plate enables direct mounting of all well-known articulators. The condylar scanning of articulated jaw models is guaranteed with articulators from Artex®, Baumann®, Gamma® and SAM®.
Articulators from other manufacturers are scanned with a medium value. The non-slip rubber mat on the system plate, which is somewhat reminiscent of a turntable and was the inspiration for the name "Vinyl", ensures a stable stand. In addition to the technical innovations, all users will be particularly pleased with the extended scope of delivery. A multiDie adapter and an impression holder for the Triple Tray® impression scan are included in the accessories. The high-quality and harmonious design rounds off the vinyl.

The Vinyl High Resolution Scanner from smart optics works with a repeat accuracy of up to 4 µm in accordance with DIN ISO 12836 and is therefore suitable for all common indications in dental technology.
