This innovative material for the production of rails is a thermoelastic plastic. The special feature of the material is its temperature-dependent mechanical properties. The material becomes more flexible at body temperature in the patient's mouth without losing its high tensile and breaking strength. For the patient, this means a significant increase in wearing comfort. The memory effect achieved with the material properties means that the splint automatically resets itself after deformation.
