Manufacturer "Rapid Shape"

Rapid Shape: innovative dental 3D printers
Dental 3D printers are reliable aids in dental laboratories and practices. They support patient care through the precise manufacture of components for models, splints and even dentures. Rapid Shape is one of the leading manufacturers of such equipment. Here at dentona, you can purchase some of the company’s innovative solutions. We have put together our range so that you can obtain not only printers from us, but also essential accessories (e.g. RS wash) for your day-to-day work.

Rapid Shape: Examples of possible applications
  • D30+: This device is a 3D dental printer featuring the patented ‘ Rapid Shape ’ separation unit. This operates automatically and ensures that parts are automatically transported from the build platform to a collection tray once they have been printed. The device then automatically starts the next print job. This significantly increases the printer’s operating speed.
  • D50+: Compared to the D30+, this dental 3D printer represents the next generation. The device also features the automatic cutting unit, but additionally operates with an autonomous refilling unit. As a result, the reservoir is always adequately supplied with printing material without the need for manual intervention. This printer therefore allows the laboratory team to concentrate on other tasks, as it operates largely without their involvement.
  • RS cure: This is a light-curing unit for polymerisation. During its development, Rapid Shape placed great emphasis on ensuring that it guarantees homogeneous curing across 360 degrees. It operates using ultraviolet light in the A (UVA) and B (UVB) ranges. RS cure is particularly effective for post-curing. The polymerisation time is just six to ten minutes.
  • RS wash: Hygiene is of paramount importance in the dental sector. After all, dentures, splints and other such items are used inside patients’ mouths. Components produced by dental 3D printers must therefore be cleaned thoroughly. RS wash, a fully automatic cleaning unit, ensures this. It reliably removes all sticky resin residues from components in just six to eight minutes, for example. The machine operates economically: it uses as little detergent as possible whilst still achieving an optimal cleaning result.

Rapid Shape develops and manufactures its products in Germany
Rapid Shape’s printers and accessories are entitled to bear the ‘Made in Germany’ label. The devices are developed and manufactured in Germany with the aim of setting new benchmarks in terms of efficiency and quality. The products are designed not only to compete with the competition on the global market, but to surpass it. The company built its first dental 3D printers as early as 2011. It therefore has many years of experience, which is continuously incorporated into the development of its latest products.

The company is also renowned for subjecting all its devices to rigorous testing before they leave the factory to ensure they are fully functional. Alongside the technical quality of the devices, this is one of the reasons why we have included these products in the dentona range: we know that the manufacturer goes to great lengths to ensure the best possible user experience. This is very important to us.
