Manufacturer "Rapid Shape"

Rapid Shape: innovative dental 3D printers

Dental 3D printers are reliable helpers in the laboratory and dental practice. They support patient care through the precise production of components for models, splints or even prostheses. Rapid Shape is one of the leading manufacturers of the associated devices. Here at dentona, you can purchase some of the company's innovative solutions. We have put together our range in such a way that you not only receive printers from us, but also important accessories (e.g. RS wash) for your daily work.

Rapid Shape: Examples of the possible applications

  • D30+: This device is a 3D dental printer that features the patented Rapid Shape separation unit. This works automatically and ensures that components are automatically transported from the build platform to a collection container after printing. The device then autonomously starts the next print. This significantly increases the working speed of the printer.
  • D50+: This dental 3D printer is the next generation compared to the D30+. The device also has the automatic separation unit, but also works with an autonomous refilling unit. This means that the tray is always sufficiently stocked with printing material without manual intervention. This printer allows the laboratory team to concentrate on other tasks as it largely works without their intervention.
  • RS cure: This is a light-curing device for polymerisation. During development, Rapid Shape attached great importance to guaranteeing 360-degree homogeneous curing. It works with ultraviolet light in the A (UVA) and B (UVB) ranges. RS cure is particularly useful for post-curing. The polymerisation time is only six to ten minutes.
  • RS wash: Hygiene is of paramount importance in the dental sector. After all, prostheses, splints, etc. are used in the patient's mouth. Components from the dental 3D printer must therefore be carefully cleaned. RS wash, a fully automatic cleaning unit, takes care of this. It reliably removes all sticky resin residue from components in just six to eight minutes, for example. The machine works economically: it uses as little detergent as possible to achieve optimum cleaning results.

Rapid Shape develops and manufactures its products in Germany

Rapid Shape's printers and accessories may bear the "Made in Germany" label. The devices are developed and manufactured in Germany with the aim of setting benchmarks in terms of efficiency and quality. The products should not only compete with the competition on the global market, but also surpass it. The company built its first dental 3D printers back in 2011 and has many years of experience, which is continuously incorporated into the development of the latest products.

The company is also known for rigorously checking all devices before they leave the factory to ensure they are fully functional. In addition to the technical quality of the devices, this is one of the reasons why we have included the products in dentona's range: We know that the manufacturer does everything possible to ensure the best possible user experience. This is very important to us.
