The digital path to the printed model Didex, the established stand-alone software from Dentona, combines proven precision – as known from PINDEX model fabrication – with the latest possibilities of 3D printing. This combination enables efficient and precise model production that optimises both traditional and digital manufacturing processes.

The outstanding features include:

• Advanced base functions: Various types of bases can be added, for example for the splitcast process or the PINDEX workflow, in just a few steps, making it easier to adapt to different requirements.

 Integration with “dentona dentobase” plates: The latest versions of the software now also offer seamless integration with dentobase plates, which provides additional flexibility for model production through two different plate sizes. Didex is therefore a modern software solution that combines the advantages of digital 3D printing with proven traditional processes and makes model fabrication for dental technicians significantly easier and more precise.

Multiple workflows – one software

The software is independent of input and output devices and can be flexibly integrated into existing laboratory environments. The process comprises the following steps: PINDEX workflow in detail

1. Digital preparation: The dental technician imports the scanned data and prepares the digital dental arch (segmentation, pinholes etc.).
2. 3D printing: The data set of the dental arch is realised by means of 3D printing.
3. Finishing: The printed dental arch is manually finished and mounted in plaster.

The result: A precise saw-cut model with optimal feel and appearance that meets the high demands of daily laboratory work. In combination with the high-quality optiprint printing materials from dentona, precise and reproducible results can be achieved.

You need the following products for a splitcast model:

  1. Magnetic holding plates turned 
  2. Dentobase excl. splitcast plate  

For a digitally produced saw-cut model including base you need:

  1. dentona® Pin DF/plus or M 
  2. dentona magnetic system

Additive resins for the dental 3D printing process, with a tailored product portfolio for dental applications. optiprint Premium resins form a cost-effective range designed to meet the dental requirements of common 3D dental printing systems. The dental production environment, featuring dental printers from ASIGA and rapidshape, enables a reliable workflow in the dental laboratory when used with optiprint premium resins. The rapidshape wash ensures a controlled cleaning process. Post-curing is carried out using a rapidshape cure or the Otoflash G171, and, when used with optiprint premium resins, ensures biocompatibility.
