The digital path to a printed model Didex, dentona’s established stand-alone software, combines proven precision – as is well known from PINDEX model production – with the latest possibilities of 3D printing. This combination enables efficient and precise model production, optimising both traditional and digital manufacturing processes.
Key features include:
  • Advanced die functions: Various types of dies can be added in just a few steps, including for the split-cast process or the PINDEX workflow, which simplifies adaptation to different requirements.
  • Integration with “dentona dentobase” plates: The latest versions of the software now also offer seamless integration with dentobase plates, providing additional flexibility in model production thanks to two different plate sizes. Didex is therefore a modern software solution that combines the advantages of digital 3D printing with tried-and-tested traditional methods, significantly simplifying and improving the precision of model production for dental technicians.
Multiple workflows – one software package
The software is independent of input and output devices and can be flexibly integrated into existing laboratory environments. The process comprises the following steps: PINDEX workflow in detail
  • Digital preparation: The dental technician imports the scan data and prepares the digital tooth crown (segmentation, pin holes, etc.).
  • 3D printing: The data set for the dental arch is produced using 3D printing technology.
  • Finishing: The printed dental arch is finished by hand and mounted in plaster.

A precise sawing model with optimal haptics and aesthetics, designed to meet the high demands of everyday laboratory work. In combination with the high-quality ‘ optiprint ’ printing materials from dentona, this enables precise and reproducible results to be achieved. You will need the following products for a split-cast model:
  • Rotated magnetic attachment plates 
  • Dentobase excluding Splitcast plate  

  • To produce a digitally manufactured sawing model including a base, you will need:

    Additive resins for the dental 3D printing process, with a product portfolio tailored to dental applications. optiprint premium resins form a cost-effective range designed to meet the dental requirements of common 3D dental printing systems. The dental production environment, featuring dental printers from ASIGA and rapidshape, enables a reliable workflow in the dental laboratory when used with optiprint premium resins. The rapidshape wash ensures a controlled cleaning process. Post-curing is carried out using a rapidshape cure or the Otoflash G171, and, when used with the optiprint premium resins, ensures biocompatibility.
