The unit enables the photopolymerisation of all light-curing materials within the wavelength range of 280–580 nm, thereby facilitating the preparation and processing of light-curing materials of varying consistencies and pigmentation, as well as the performance of repair work using appropriate materials.
Thanks to its technical specifications, the Otoflash G171 achieves particularly short curing times. Two flash lamps positioned at the bottom generate 10 very intense flashes per second in the wavelength range of 280–580 nm when in operating mode. Compared with other devices, this results in significantly better through-curing of the materials, yielding excellent physical properties and a reduced residual monomer content.
This high-performance universal polymerisation unit is fitted with a protective gas connection, which prevents oxygen inhibition on the surfaces. The user obtains tack-free components straight from the printing process, eliminating the need to remove the inhibition layer. To ensure biocompatibility and optimal post-curing, dentona provides individual application recommendations for the device when using the premium resins.
