As a tungsten-free, nickel-free and beryllium-free CoCr disc, optimill acero nf fulfils high requirements for biocompatibility and corrosion resistance. The alloy is matched in such a way that the coefficient of thermal expansion (CTE) is compatible with common veneering ceramics – a solid basis for a reliable metal-ceramic bond. Polishability was also specifically taken into account in order to keep the finishing process in the laboratory efficient.
